Sheyna is a seasoned senior care professional with nearly 30 years of experience supporting older adults and their families through life’s important transitions. As a Senior Living and Home Care Consultant with Compass Senior Solutions, Sheyna offers trusted, compassionate guidance to help families navigate the complex world of senior care with clarity and confidence.
Sheyna holds a Master of Social Work and a graduate certificate in Gerontology and Aging Studies, and her career has been built on a foundation of clinical knowledge, empathy, and a deep passion for serving others. In addition to her work with Compass, she brings valuable insight from her experience as the founder of Tidewater Senior Consulting.
A proud Virginia Beach native, Sheyna is committed to making a difference in her community. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her child—walking, hiking, dancing, swimming, or soaking up the sun at the beach. She also appreciates great food, good wine, and connecting with loved ones.

Rudy Swartz brings a unique blend of hospitality, healthcare, and social work experience to his role as a Senior Advocate at Compass Senior Solutions. Originally from Chicago, Rudy relocated to Virginia Beach in 2017 and began his career in the upscale hospitality industry, where he developed a strong foundation in customer service and guest relations.
His passion for serving others led him to pursue certification as a Dietary Manager, working in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living communities (ALFs), and continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs). Through this hands-on experience, Rudy developed a deep compassion for older adults and made a natural transition into social work — focusing on supporting seniors and their families through some of life’s most difficult transitions.
At Compass, Rudy is known for his empathy, professionalism, and genuine dedication to helping seniors find the care and support they deserve. He takes pride in building meaningful relationships and being a reliable resource for families and care teams alike.
When he’s not working with families, you can find him outdoors, staying active, or spending time with his wife Jasmine and their two cats.
